West Midlands Area NUS exists to improve academic, social, environmental and financial conditions for students in the West Midlands region through active and vibrant campaigns, guided by our values of collectivism, democracy and equality, which we share with the National Union of Students.
Broke & Broken - What is the West Mids to do?
 Thursday 2nd October saw West Midlands Area NUS members meet and discuss our regional activity!
Delegates from BCU, Birmingham Guild of Students, Newman University College and Staffordhsire Students' Unions attended.

The date will be confirmed later on this week!

We have got lots of exciting stuff in the pipe line! Rally, speakers, action, ballons for all your MP's VC's and principles, action on your campus' and as a collective!

West Midlands Area National Union of Students to run hidden course costs campaign 2008/2009

StudentsAfter the success of the hidden course costs campaign in 2007/200 WMANUS will be running the hidden course costs campaign again.

The results from 2007/2008 were evident that 63% of West Midlands students do not feel there courses are value for money! With the HE Funding Review just around the corner and the cost of living steadily increasing students will be forced into further drastic money borrowing due to the heavy costs of HE.
